Function Bookings


Prices and menu are a guide and are subject to change without notice due to availability of seasonal produce.

Our chefs would be pleased to write a menu to suit your budget and needs but require one weeks notice prior to the event.

Bookings of 20 people or more are requested to choose a set menu in order to ensure speed of service. A minimum set menu of $45 is required for dining on Friday or Saturday Nights. All other nights a minimum set menu of $40 is required.



Beverages

Verde offers your guests the choice of drinks from our fully stocked bar featuring local and imported beers and spirits.

Our comprehensive wine list offers the choice of wine by the glass or bottle and the award winning Red Hill Brewery beer straight from the tap.

In conjunction with a set menu Verde offers a 10% discount on all bottled wine off the wine list. This offer must be arranged prior to event.

Drinks can be purchased over the bar or billed by the table.

Fresh Flinders mussels in coconut, coriander and lemongrass

Pork, chicken and pistachio terrine with homemade apple chutney

Roast vegetable and Chevre cheese tart with beetroot coulis

Chorizo, fetta, basil pesto and spinach tossed with linguini

Shredded Duck and julienne vegetable rice paper rolls with chilli plum sauce

Fish and chips, beer battered flathead tails, fries and a light salad

Corn fed chicken breast, Gippsland Brie and spinach filo parcels on a roquette salad

Peppered beef salad with horseradish cream and grissini

Slow braised lamb shank with buttered vegetables and mash

Grilled Atlantic salmon with salsa Verde on a lemon and asparagus risotto



STANDARD MAINS – from $30 per head




Herb crumbed veal saltimbocca with roma tomato and potato salad and lemon

Marinated lamb cutlets on a warm grilled vegetable salad with lemon dukkah yoghurt

Char-grilled rump steak on kipfler potatoes with roast mushroom sauce

Grilled Atlantic salmon on panzanella salad and romesco sauce

Roast chicken breast in lemon and rosemary on spinach and cherry tomato risotto

Pan-seared tiger prawns in creamy tomato sauce with spinach and penne



DELUXE MAINS – from $35 per head




Sesame seared marlin steak on a warmed nicoise salad with a sweet soy & ginger mayonnaise

Mediterranean chicken filled with bocconcini and roast capsicum on grilled vegetables and kipflers

Porterhouse steak on kipfler potato, French beans and tarragon and mustard cream

Honey and rosemary lamb cutlets on buttered spinach and sweet potato galette

Crispy skin duck on a wild mushroom risotto with calvados apple sauce

Morton Bay bugs grilled in tarragon butter on a water melon, roquette and fetta salad



DESSERTS – from $12 per head




Affogato, homemade vanilla bean ice cream, a shot of liqueur and a hit of espresso

Duo of ice cream with orange butter cookie
