Christmas @ Verde

 

This year we are offering a wonderful six course menu which is guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. We start with a champagne cocktail on arrival followed by a canapé and a couple of entrees, a choice between three main courses, the “Traditional Christmas Lunch” with roasted turkey roulade stuffed with date and chestnut farce and maple glazed leg ham or Chargrilled marlin fillet, and finally dessert, petit fours and tea or coffee. For those who enjoy the more Aussie tradition we have our “Seafood Sensation” featuring King Island Crayfish, Morton Bay Bugs, oysters and more.

ON ARRIVAL

Champagne Cocktail

 

CANAPE

Gazpacho shooter with lemon granita

 

FIRST ENTRÉE

Duck and pistachio terrine with cornichons and apple chutney

 

SECOND ENTRÉE

Fennel and orange cured Atlantic salmon with mini Waldorf salad and soda bread

 

MAIN COURSE

½ King Island Crayfish served natural, Morton Bay bug grilled with lemongrass and lime,

spiced calamari and pickled mussel salad

OR

Chargrilled marlin fillet on broad beans and zucchini ribbons with spicy capsicum harissa

OR

Roasted turkey roulade stuffed with date and chestnut farce, maple leg ham, Dutch carrots and rosemary potatoes

 

DESSERT

Spiced ginger and plum layer cake filled with raspberry mascarpone cream

 

PETIT-FOURS

Pistachio and vanilla nougat

White chocolate and Xmas spice rum balls

The “Traditional Christmas Lunch” or the “Chargrilled Marlin” option is $95.00 per head while the “Seafood Sensation” is $135 per head. We will also be offering a children’s menu (for those under 12), which consists of smaller portions of the Traditional Menu at a cost of $45 per head inclusive of soft drinks.

Bookings are available for a 12.00pm or 12.30pm arrival. A non-refundable 50% deposit per person is payable on reservation.

Menu selection no later than Friday 10th of December.

Bookings not finalized by 5:00pm on the 10th December will be cancelled.

Bookings made after 10th December must be paid in full.
